More of this or less of that?
Today I drove 6 hours round trip for a 4 hour meeting.
Actually, I rode with another guy from my company, so I didn't drive. Which meant I could drink the whole time.
I'm kidding. I drove and I drank the whole time.
I'm kidding. I just rode and I didn't drink.
But on with the story. Six hours seems like a long time to travel for a four hour meeting. Yet as I thought about it, I couldn't quite figure out which I would prefer: driving 6 hours for a 4 hour meeting - or - driving 4 hours for a 6 hour meeting.
What do you think: more driving, less meeting? Or less driving, more meeting?

I always drink & drive - according to my preschool aged son (years ago). . .I never leave the house without a cup of tea or coffee or water. Imagine my surprise when my son told his preschool class during show & tell that his mom drinks and drive!
Couldn't you do a conference call to save all that driving? With gas prices these days it would make sense.
I love your blog but don't comment much!
More drinking. Definitely.
Mr. Love Well would like me to comment: "Would I prefer getting burned at the stake or chopped into pieces?"
Pretty much sums it up from our end.
Well that would depend on the meeting. If it's your typical "this is the biggest waste of time; kill me now" meeting, then I say more driving.
If it's a fun meeting where you're going to laugh, talk, and eat, then I say more meeting. (I had one of those meetings once. I was paid to "play golf" (snort), eat with the gang and go drinking to send someone on his merry way to another job. That was a GREAT meeting.)
Of course I say more drinking either way.
More driving, less meeting. Anyday!
Depends who I was driving with and where. Spending time with certain people for 6 hours would be hell on earth.
