Blogiversary
If you smelled smoke on February 1, that was me. Sorry about that. Candles.
February 1 was the one month blogiversary of My Best Investments, so I cooked up some food, had a few thousand friends over to the house and decked out the dining room. Wife baked a cake for the blog and we put a big, fat candle in the middle.
I think the blog enjoyed the party, although the crash after the big sugar high was pretty rough!

Some take their blogging very seriously I see! Wow! I'm impressed... what happens at the one year anniversary... you take all your loyal readers to Aruba for a week, Huh? Yeah?
No, nothing that elaborate. I'm thinking just a little get-together at the civic center or someplace. Emeril Legasse is going to come cook hot dogs, and Guns n' Roses has agreed to get back together to play for the party. Cirque du Soleil is working on a theatrical adaptation of the first year's blog content, and Fergie from the Black Eyed Peas will make balloon animals for the kids.
Please tell me you are blowing the kid's college funds on that party...
I blew ours on a pizza and Dr Pepper last night.
